I see, many students who are actually good at studies but, when it comes to taking an exam, they appear as if they are very much stressed and tense. WHY??
TRUE KNOWLEDGE
"It does n't seek any appreciation from the people around us."
Once you start studying, expecting your performance on an exam to be appreciated by people, it is no more a true effort.
"It doesn't see expectations from the people including self."
If you see no expectations regarding your work, you will be stress relieved and pressure free before taking any exam.
"It does n't bring comparisons with other people."
You don't need to compare your performance on an exam with others in order to elevate your selves or feeling inferior to them.
Cheers.
P.S.
1) It's always whether you have sufficient knowledge to think about a question you have been asked is what matters. Certainly, whether you have answered it or not, does n't matter.
2)"Knowledge should be shared". One should be seen helping others so that you can get helped in return.
3) With all of your Knowledge, you should n't be seen embarrassing anyone out here.
4) True knowledge aims at only constant learning and self improvement.

THE PROFESSOR
Responsibilities of a professor....
Firstly, a professor should LOOK like a professor.(I can't imagine my professor wearing a T-shirt, jeans/shorts and taking the lecture class.)
For discussion, every professor should take the material from a standard TEXT BOOK. (Reviewing a review book for the students....Does It make any sense?)
Medical school is NOT a coaching center. (A professor should help the students to understand and master the material firstly rather training them to take an entrance exam.)
Material should be presented in a more SIMPLIFIED and illustrative manner (So that, it can reach most of the students of the class.)
Only NECESSARY material should be discussed in a quality of time. (Always it’s the quality of the lecture class which matters. Definitely not the quantity.
Usage of projector and slides should be LIMITED only to give an exposure of pictures to the students. (Let the students take care of their text books.)
Strictly NO presentations. (Presentations are painful for the students. I haven't heard any student saying that they are helpful.)
Every student should be given EQUAL importance. (Giving extreme importance to only few students may let other students feel like as if they are being ignored in the class.)
ENCOURAGE students to question. (A review class at the end of every chapter helps the students to clear their doubts.)
Give self ASSESMENT exams. (They help the students to test themselves from what they have studied.)
Finally, the role of education in our lives is not to get a good job and have a secured life. The basic purpose of education is to eliminate the ignorance and fill the brain with KNOWLEDGE so that one can have a better way of living. So, a professor always should provide a thought provoking exposure to the students.
Cheers.
P.S.
1) I prefer to be quiet and serious rather being friendly with students in the school because seriousness has more intensity than friendliness so, it creates greater impact.
2) Punctuality makes sense only when it benefits someone. I prefer to get students 10/15 min. break so that they can prepare mentally for the next lecture class.
3) We don’t have good or bad professors. We have professors who are helpful or not.
4)It's not uncommon for any professor to commit mistakes. But, today's biggest mistake is not correcting yesterday's mistake.
5) Everyone has their own criteria to define professionalism. I follow my criteria ONLY.

GREATNESS
Who is great...
Student or Professor?
Whose greatness lies in what?
A professor's greatness lies in simplifying the material in such a manner that, while discussing it can reach most of the students of the class.
I personally feel, any professor considering himself great is purely of his imagination thinking that he delivered the best lecture and it is being understood by most of the students of the class.
No professor can actually say who has understood the material and who has n't. Understanding capabilities do differ from one student to another and for the same student relative to the topic.
A professor can't even consider himself great on the basis of student's opinion because most if not everyone, will be praising their professor expecting something out of him.
A student's greatness lies in being capable of understanding what his professor is discussing in the class.
If he understands, he himself considers great and considers his professor too great. We have great professors just because of great students.
So, student's greatness is directly proportional to professor's greatness. More will be the student's greatness...more will be the chances for a professor to become great.
Just imagine, if no student understands what their professor is discussing, do we still have great professors in this world??
Cheers.
P.S.
It's because of the above, when i was awarded as the best professor, i said to the students "This award is yours".
